Tech Tips for Non-Profits
Social Signal has a bunch of handy dandy tech tips for the non-profit sector. I know we don’t actually work with non-profits (though I’ve volunteered for them from time to time), but many of the tips that Rob and Alex provide are applicable to the technology sector. Here’s an example:
Choose a team tag: Choose a tag that your staff, board and volunteers can use to share information and resources. Encourage your team to use del.icio.us, furl or another social bookmarking service to save web resources they find personally useful or want to share with the team.
Their Web 2.0 glossary will prove handy for leery neophytes as well.
