Traditional Brands Still Reign
Via Media Culpa Information/Business Week’s List of the world’s most valuable brands. Not surprising, the traditional brands still top the list. For interests sake,
The ten most valueable brands 2004 are:
- Coca-Cola
- Microsoft
- IBM
- GE
- Intel
- Disney
- McDonald’s
- Nokia
- Toyota
- Marlboro
While many things contribute to putting these companies at the top of the brand list, including money, exposure, clever tactics, etc. overall it still takes a company a long time to build the kind of brand recognition to compete with the likes of Disney and Coke.
